Privacy

Tile Crowd collects the email you type at checkout or for Founding Tile verification, the customization you submit, optional image files, payment metadata from Stripe (paid claims only), and coarse technical logs (IP hashes for rate limits and reports).

We do not create public accounts or passwords for visitors. Admin access is a separate, allowlisted login.

Uploaded images are decoded, stripped of EXIF, fitted into a square without cropping, and stored as WebP. Originals are ephemeral.

Stripe processes cards for paid tiles. Free Founding Tiles do not create a Stripe session. We store Stripe session/payment intent IDs on paid orders so we can match webhooks. We never store card numbers.

Referral links only record that a later claim (free or paid) started from a tile URL. They do not expose anyone's email.
